Here’s a post I never thought I’d make. Tomorrow is going to be my last day at Relic - it’s hard to believe that I only joined Relic a year ago. I strive to make great games with great people and Relic is a great example of that ideal. COH:Opposing Fronts has been getting great reviews and has been nominated for some very cool awards - which is great for an ‘expandalone’ game. And the crew at Relic, well, I’m going to be leaving a lot of good friends and inspiring creators and that makes this move especially hard.

‘What’s next’ you ask? It’s a very big move. To the other side of Canada in fact. I’m taking a position as Sr. Producer at Longtail Studios, heading up their new Charlottetown studio on Prince Edward Island. (for those unfamiliar with Canadian geography - Vancouver = West Coast and Charlottetown = East Coast)

Longtail and PEI are both huge opportunities - Longtail is a young company with strong lineage and Charlottetown is home to a young and growing game development community. I’m especially excited as Longtail is very focused on characters and story and they are tackling storytelling in games with an aggressive attitude and an open mind.

I’m tremendously excited for what the future will bring.
