I was at a holiday dinner last night. You know, everyone gets all dressed up, some catering company gives you potatoes and meat and people sit around a table and talk.
One of the people at our table had recently stayed in a hotel and said she was tempted to play the ‘Xbox’ that was in the room.
She didn’t mean that it was an actual Xbox that came with the room, but that there was a video game machine of some kind.
In the same way that ‘Nintendo’ used to be the generic term for home video games back in the day and ‘Playstation’ has been for the past 10 years - well, now that word is Xbox.
The really funny thing is that most hotel gaming systems are Nintendo SNES or GameCube set-ups.
