Super heroes are visual archetypes. A simple glance at a heroes costume can trigger responses that remind us of the values and spirit of the character. The best costumes are timeless, but this doesn’t stop you from wanting to redesign them.
Over at The Drawing Board, they often have character jams (Catwoman is a favorite) where everyone gets to take a swing.
Project Rooftop is a bit different. You can submit your design and it will be critiqued from a character and fashion perspective.
Me? I like to see where the artist envisions the true character of the heroes and the spirit of the team that they are on.
