Saturday was a great day - 35 guys, 3 girls, a bunch of bikes made for 10 year olds all stuck in a parking lot with only hotdogs and Red Bull to sustain us.
What may sound like some weird punishment was actually the 6th (or 7th?) annual Western Canadian Flatland Jam. Some guys ride their bikes off of things and down hand-rails. Me? I like to spin in circles in a parking lot.
A great day, filled with old friends and a few new ones. Riders came out from Boston, Saskatoon, Shr-Edmonton, Calgary, Seattle, Portland and all over the Vancouver area to a little parking lot in the suburbs of Vancouver to spin in circles, make friends and shake our heads at the tricks the visiting Japanese riders were throwing down.
