The Superman hype machine is going into full gear - Lois and Clark, Justice League, Krypto, Superboy and more - they are all here out this week. So many Superman related shows are being released today, it’s impossible to list them all (actually, I’m just too lazy).

Eight Below
I haven’t seen Eight Below, but I will admit this. I cried the first time I saw the trailer in the theatre. I looked over to my wife and she was almost tearing up too.
This is another dog movie that is pretty much guaranteed to make you cry. If the trailer can make a immature grown man cry - the whole movie must be a gut wrencher.
Why don’t they make any cat movies that make people cry? Why does it always have to be a horse or a dog?

how come you haven’t included ‘bubble’ in the new releases??? i refuse to belive you don’t know the hoopla behind this film… in fact, i think it was your blog on the movie theatre mogul guy that first turned me onto that film!
can’t wait for super-duper man, though! (good or bad)

Fully aware of Bubble, but since it came out in the USA a few months ago with simultaneous release, I didn’t think it was worth celebrating how Canadian arthouse theatres stopped us from enjoying the fulle ‘Bubble experience’.
Mark Cuban is definitely the man, but it really sucks that us Canadians miss out on another cool media event - thus, no Bubble mention.
yes, I am bitter.
